Jindie Nails - Pink Stilettos (collaboration with Polishaholic RiaG)

I'm very proud to present my collaboration polish with Jindie Nails!!

This is Pink Stilettos and here's how it's described on Jindie Nails website: "Pink Stilettos is a pastel pink cream/jelly with scatter and linear holographic glitters.  It also has a very pretty pink/gold shifting shimmer added to it.  This one can be worn alone, with no base coat and opaque in about 2 or 3 coats.  As always, 3-free, cruelty free & hand poured in southern USA!"

Jen did perfect with this polish and I couldn't be happier! Pink Stilettos is gorgeous in sunlight with the scattered holo glitters and the shimmer makes it stunning even when there's less light. This shade of pink also goes with a lot of different skin tones. I know I usually show a lot of those awesome glitter bombs that I love so much and this is not one of them. I wanted to do something that is suitable for a lot of people so this is perfect to wear on it's own and it also makes a great, sparkling base for various glitter toppers.

Formula is also great. For this manicure I applied two easy coats of Pink Stilettos and HK Girl top coat. Dry time was very quick. Application was so smooth I didn't even need to do clean up after. This is somewhat sheer on the first coat but the result is so even you can leave it at that if you want a more delicate looking result. Perfect polish in every way!

Jen onnistui tämän lakan kanssa upeasti ja tykkään tästä todella paljon! Pink Stilettos on upean kimalteleva auringonvalossa ja shimmerin ansiosta todella kaunis myös himmeämmässä valaistuksessa. Tämä pinkki sopii moneen ihonsävyyn. Yleensähän esittelen niitä ihania indie glitterpommeja, mutta yllärinä en suunnitellut sellaista ;) Halusin lakan joka sopii monen makuun. Tämä on ihana yksinään ja sopii myös kauniisti erilaisten glitterien pohjaksi.

Koostumus tässä on erinomainen. Tämä levittyy täydellisen tasaisesti ja peittää kahdella kerroksella. Kuivumisaika on myös nopea. Tämä on ensimmäisellä kerroksella läpikuultava, mutta niin tasainen että voit käyttää sitä sellaisenaan jos haluat herkemmän näköisen lopputuloksen. Kaikin tavoin ihana lakka vaikka itse sanonkin!

Jindie Nails - Lights Out and Love Me

These two polishes were released together as a Valentines Duo but due to popular demand they will still be restocked. They won't be offered as a duo set anymore but you can buy them individually.

First we have Lights Out "a very dark gray, almost black super squishy jelly.  It's full of all shades of reds and pinks and is pretty opaque on it's own in 3 coats, or can be layered over many different colors for a totally different look". 

This looks amazing on it's own or layered over a dark color. But there's already swatch photos that way so I decided to take a different road with this one. I layered it over yesterday's Pink Stilettos manicure and I love how it turned out looking. Lights Out covered Pink Stilettos almost completely but the pink shade underneath brings certain warmth to this grey shade. Macro shot also shows the beautiful shimmer in this. The result was very beautiful and totally unique!

Formula on this was excellent. I applied two coats normally and the result was very smooth. No need to fish for the glitter either. I didn't even turn the bottle upside down. I only needed to apply one coat of HK Girl to smooth it out.







Ok, then let's move on to the other one. This is Love Me "a medium purple shade with a blue flash, matte ice blue small hex, violets, blues, magentas, pinks throughout.  It's a cream/jelly and opaque in 2-3 coats".

Love Me was a bit tricky to try and capture accurately. I had to adjust the color a bit afterwards to make it look as close to reality as possible. I think I got pretty close but in real life the shade is somewhat deeper and even more vibrant. This one is totally stunning!!

Formula on Love Me was also very good. It applied well and was opaque with two coats. This dried a little rougher and I used two coats of HK Girl to smooth the surface nicely.

Some Glitter Gal Australia pretties

Today I have two polishes and a holo top coat from Glitter Gal Australia.

Let's start with She's Cactus, a creme polish from Celebrate Sydney Style collection. This is two coats with Glitter Gal Gloss Boss top coat. Application was a little uneven on the first coat but the second one smooth it out nicely. Even after the second coat the result wasn't perfect at first but the polish seemed to smooth itself out while I was cleaning the cuticles and Gloss Boss top coat made the finish look perfect. This dries a little bit brighter than it looks in the bottle and adding top coat brings out a hint of yellow on the color. I also tested this with HK Girl and it dried exactly the same way, more yellow than it looks in the bottle. I really like this bright color and it's absolutely perfect for spring and summer!





Today I also have a gorgeous holo polish for you, Lizard Belly. This is very deep, dark green linear holo polish. I applied three coats, for shorter nails two will be enough. Application was very good and even. Unfortunately the sun wasn't out when I was swatching this so all I have is photos taken with daylight bulbs. This was stunning and somewhat dramatic looking on my long nails. Love it!






Last but not least there's Galaxy Holo top coat "an intense multi-coloured sparkle with a holographic prism when viewed under light.  An absolutely beautiful twinkle".

This top coat can be used over any color and finish you want to. Naturally it's gorgeous over creme polishes but I also wanted to try how it looks layered on a holo polish. So I decided to add a coat of Galaxy Holo top coat on Lizard Belly. The result was super-sparkly and very pretty. The photos don't do justice to the sparkle of this combination at all and I should have taken a video to show it better.

Application was nice and even and it dried very smooth and shiny.

St Patrick's Day nails

Today I have some nail art (or fail art) done with Glitter Gal polishes I showed you on my last post. This idea looked a whole lot different in my head LOL I think I'll do some nail art with these polishes again since they go together so well. I already have some ideas but I'm down with a flu and just had no energy to redo this manicure right now.

I used Glitter Gal Australia's She's Cactus, Lizard Belly, Galaxy Holo top coat and Gloss Boss top coat plus Art Club gold nail art liner for this manicure.

Joopa joo eli St Patrick's Day kynnet vuorossa tällä kertaa. Nämä nyt ei menneet ihan niin kuin kuvittelin, ei edes sinnepäin ;D Laitetaan nyt kuitenkin näkyville tämäkin räpellys. Nämä on tehty edellisen postauksen Glitter Gal Australia lakoilla eli käytössä She's Cactus, Lizard Belly, Galaxy Holo top coat ja Gloss Boss top coat sekä kultainen Art Club koristelulakka. Nämä lakat sopivat tosi hienosti yhteen eli ehkäpä jossain vaiheessa kokeilen jotain muuta koristelua näillä. Nyt ei riitä energia, kun pienempi natiainen tartutti minuun vielä flunssan kaikkien muiden kipujen ja särkyjen lisäksi.

Cult Nails - Annalicious

Cult Nails Annalicious is orange/red jelly full of orange and gold shimmer. This almost looks like a glass fleck polish. The color is so vibrant and has an amazing glow. I love, love, love colors like this!

The formula and application were flawless. I didn't even need to do any clean up. I applied two easy coats with HK Girl top coat. Perfection!

Sally Hansen Satin Glam - 05 Chic Pink

Today I have a beautiful Sally Hansen Satin Glam polish for you, Chic Pink. This color is right down my alley and perfect for spring and summer. I chose to wear it without a top coat as it's meant to be used cos I love the satin finish. If you're not a fan you can always use a top coat to bring on the shine.

Formula was good and two coats was enough for an opaque result on my gel nails. Dry time was a little long for a fast drying top coat addict like me but still tolerable. This peachy pink polish will definitely be seen on my nails again! Love it!






Tänään vuorostaan Sally Hansen Satin Glam kevätlakka Chic Pink. Tämä on minulle erittäin mieluinen väri ja aivan täydellinen sävy keväseen ja kesään. Itse käytin tätä ilman päällyslakkaa, jotta kaunis satiinipinta jäisi näkyviin. Jos et itse ole tälläisen semi-matan ystävä niin tämän päälle voit aina toki lisätä top coatin.

Koostumus tässä oli hyvä ja kaksi kerrosta riitti peittävään lopputulokseen geelikynsilläni. Kuivumisaika oli hieman pitkältä tuntuva tälläiselle pikakuivattajan suurkuluttajalle, mutta ei mitenkään mahdoton. Tämä persikkapinkki sävy on kyllä aivan ihana ja pääsee taatusti kesän aikana kynsilleni uudelleenkin!

Satin Glam sävyt ovat myynnissä kevään ajan ja suositushinta on 9,90 euroa.

Spring flowers - Acrylic paint nail art

Here's some nail art I did with Oumaxi acrylic paints. The base color is OPI Alpine Snow. I added some Cesars Secrets loose glitter (#225) on top of it. Painted the flowers with acrylic paints and used A England She Walks In Beauty for some extra sparkle. Everything is topped off with HK Girl top coat. Kevätkukkia kynsillä akryylimaaleilla maalattuna :) Pohjalla OPI Alpine Snow. Irtoglitter lakan pinnalla on Cesars Secrets #225 ja akryylimaaleina Oumaxi maalit. Lisäksi bling-blingiä kukkiin A Englandin She Walks In Beauty glitterlakalla ja viimeisenä silauksena tietysti HK Girl top coat. Olettekos te kokeillut akryylimaaleja kynsien koristelussa? Itse tykkään tehdä niillä esimerkiksi juuri kukkia. Kynsilakka leviää ja värit sekoittuvat niin helposti, ettei niillä tehdä oikein yksityiskohtaisia koristeluja. Pitäisi vaan harjoitella enemmän näiden maalien käyttöä. Netistä löytää niin upeita videoita esim. one stroke kukkien tekemisestä ja lopputulos voi olla todella näyttävä. Ei se vaan ihan niin helposti itseltä käy kuin miltä se noilla videoilla vaikuttaa ;)

Jindie Nails Wifey Material and Re-Fresh to Death

Today I have two brand new Jindies for you. These will be launched tomorrow, 5th of April along with my collaboration polish Pink Stilettos and Bonnie & Clyde duo, collaboration with Dollish Polish. Exact time hasn't been announced so keep watching Jindie Nails FB page and IG for more info on tomorrow's launch.

***Edit*** Launch time is at noon central US time zone on Sat 5th of April and international shipping is available!


First we have Wifey Material "It is made with a multichrome pigment, linear holographic pigment, flecks of real silver and a bit of silver shimmer. Application is great and this is opaque in about 2 coats!  This polish shifts from baby blue to violet, to red tones".

This polish is just gorgeous and it sparkles like a rainbow in sunlight. This was two easy coats with HK Girl top coat. Application was nice and smooth and two coats was enough for perfectly opaque result.

Another new polish released tomorrow is Re-Fresh to Death. This name cracks me up :D I don't actually know the story behind the name but it reminds me of the little sin most of us indie polish lovers have most likely committed during a crazy restock, obsessive refreshing of the page when the restock is about to happen ;)

"Re-Fresh to Death has a white crelly (cream/jelly) base loaded with small, metallic hexagons in sapphire blue, lilac, periwinkle, magenta, mauve, lavender & dark purple". Surprise, surprise! I love this one too! :P Re-Fresh to Death is so packed with glitter and still very easy to apply. Crelly base is just perfect and creates a lovely sandwich effect. Glitter came out of the bottle very easily, no extra tricks needed. Two coats was enough for opaque result and I used one coat of HK Girl top coat to smooth the surface.





So these will launch at Jindie Nails website tomorrow 5th of April with the previously mentioned new releases. International shipping will be available.

OPI - Where Did Suzi's Man-Go?

Today I have two OPI posts coming up and tomorrow I'll show you two Delush Polish glitter toppers layered with these pretties.

So let's start with Where Did Suzi's Man-Go? A gorgeous bright mango creme from OPI Brazil - Spring/Summer 2014 collection. I LOVE this shade! Looks like it's full of summer and sunshine! Absolutely gorgeous!

Formula is great too. Application is nice and smooth. This is two coats with HK Girl top coat.

OPI - Alpine Snow

OPI Alpine Snow is your basic white creme. I didn't use to like all white nails on myself but with this length and shape I actually like it quite a lot. White/very light cremes can be a nightmare to apply sometimes but this one is actually pretty decent. A little streaky on the first coat but evens out nicely on the second. You should take a good amount of polish on the brush. If you try to apply this too thinly it's going to look uneven for sure. This is two coats with HK Girl top coat.




OPI Alpine Snow on perusvalkoinen creme. Aiemmin en pitänyt yhtään kokovalkoisista kynsistä itselläni, mutta tämän pituuden ja mallin kanssa valkoinen näyttää oikeastaan nyt tosi kivalta minun silmääni. Valkoiset/erittäin vaaleat cremet voivat olla välillä koostumuksen puolesta aika jäätäviä, mutta tämän kanssa pystyy hyvin elämään. Alpine Snow levittyy hiukan epätasaisesti ensimmäisellä kerroksella, mutta tasoittuu hyvin toisella. Kannattaa myös ottaa reilusti lakkaa siveltimeen. Jos yrität liian ohuita kerroksia lopputulos on taatusti epätasainen.

Delush Polish - Mad Top Hatter Duo

So today I have a glitter topper duo from Delush Polish layered on the OPI cremes I showed you on yesterday's posts.

Star Gazer is neon glitter mix on a clear base. This applies nice, smooth and even. You can layer this over a lot of different colors. This time I chose OPI Where Did Suzi's Man-Go? and I think they looked just perfect together! This is such a fun polish :)

On this mani I used two thin coats of Star Gazer over OPI Where Did Suzi's Man-Go? and one coat of HK Girl top coat.


Tänään siis vuorossa jokin aika sitten Suomeenkin, CesarsShopiin myyntiin tulleen Delush Polish indiemerkin Mad Top Hatter Duon lakat Star Gazer ja Two Bees in a Pod. Nämä kaksi glitter topperia on yhdistetty eilisissä postauksissa nähtyjen OPI cremejen kanssa.

Star Gazer lakka sisältää neonglitteriä kirkkaalla pohjalla.  Lakka on todella tasaisesti ja hyvin levittyvä eikä glittereitä tarvitse pullosta sen suuremmin onkia. Tätä voi käyttää todella monen eri värisen lakan seurana. Tässä se on yhdistetty OPI Where Did Suzi's Man-Go? cremen kanssa ja lopputulos on mielestäni tosi nätti ja raikas.

Kuvassa siis kaksi kerrosta Star Gazeria OPI Where Did Suzi's Man-Go? lakan päällä sekä HK Girl pikakuivattaja.






Two Bees in a Pod is a lovely black and yellow (hence the name) glitter mix with some holographic glitter to bring on the sparkle. I layered this with OPI Alpine Snow white creme to really make the glitters pop. This already looked very good with just one layer but since I always need my glitter fix I added a second coat. Application was good and smooth. This is very packed with glitter so it's easy to get the coverage you need without having to apply too many layers.

On this mani I used two coats of Two Bees in a Pod over OPI Alpine Snow with HK Girl top coat.



Two Bees in a Pod on raikas kelta-musta glitterpläjäys jossa mukana myös hologlitteriä tuomassa hiukan extrasäihkettä. Nimensä mukaan tästä tulee mieleen ampiaiset :P Lakkasin tällä OPI Alpine Snow valkoisen cremen päälle. Tämä näytti tosi hyvältä jo ihan yhdellä kerroksella, mutta glitterharakan oli vanhasta tottumuksesta lisättävä vielä toinenkin. Lakka levittyi hyvin ja tasaisesti. Tässä on mukana niin paljon glitteriä, että pääset nopeasti haluamaasi lopputulokseen peittävyyden suhteen.

Arcane Lacquer - Complicated Nothings

Today I have a new to me indie brand from Australia for you. Arcane Lacquer is created by Nail Gun XS and if you like Aussie indie brands I bet you've seen some of her amazing swatches around the internet.

So Complicated Nothings is my first Arcane Lacquer polish and I'm quite impressed with the quality. This rosy pink shimmery crelly applies very smoothly and evenly. I applied two coats and there was somewhat visible nail line but it didn't look bad at all. I actually wanted to leave it that way cos this is a very feminine and delicate looking polish that has certain lightness to it cos it's a bit sheer. I didn't want to even try to achieve a fully opaque result since I wanted to keep that light look. I bet this is fully opaque with three coats though and and you can apply this pretty thinly so three coats is not a problem at all. This has such beautiful sparkle! I'm in love!

Complicated Nothings on siis ensimmäinen Arcane Lacquer lakkani ja olenkin varsin tyytyväinen tämän laatuun. Koostumus oli hyvä ja helposti levittyvä. Laitoin tätä kaksi kerrosta ja tulos jäi hieman läpikuultavaksi. Tässä lakassa on ihanan herkkä ja naisellinen fiilis sekä tietty keveys. Siksi halusinkin jättää  lakkauksen ohuehkoksi enkä edes pyrkinyt täysin peittävään lopputulokseen. Uskon kuitenkin, että kolmas kerros olisi riittänyt peittämään ja tämä levittyy sen verran ohuesti, ettei kolmas kerros olisi ollut liikaa. Ihanan kimalteleva ja sädehtivä upeuslakka!!

Rimmel Sweetie Crush textured polishes

Today I got Rimmel Sweetie Crush textured polishes to show you. These sweet pastels are perfect for spring and summer.

Application on these was very smooth and easy. I had no issues with the application and didn't need to even do any clean up. These take 2-3 coats to be opaque and dry time to fully dry nails for two coats (no base coat) is about 30 to 35 mins. These were also very easy to remove. The base is more pearly than shimmery so you won't be up to your elbows in shimmer after removing these.

I swatched 009 Candyfloss Cutie (three coats, no undies or top coat) alone so you can see texture and finish better on those photos. Other colors have a similar finish to this one except for 008 Sherbet Sweetheart that also has glitter in it and is my favorite out of these five shades (I'll do a separate post for that one later on).

For the second mani I used NailVinyls for the patterns. I attached the NailVinyls and applied two coats of each polish. I used different polish for each nail. I immediately removed the NailVinyls and let the polish dry completely. Then I used different colors and filled in the patterns using a thin nail art brush.

All in all, I quite like these and I have some more nail art ideas in mind for these pretties. Now if I can only get a few extra hours added to my days so I can actually work on my ideas ;)










Tällä kertaa esittelyvuorossa suloiset Rimmel Sweetie Crush tekstuurilakat. Nämä ihanat pastellisävyt ovat täydellisiä tähän vuodenaikaan. Itse olen tekstuurilakkojen ystävä ja nämä olivatkin hyviä peruslakkoja. 

Minulla ei ollut mitään ongelmia levityksen kanssa. Kummassakaan manikyyrissä en ole siistinyt kynsinauhojen aluetta ja kaikki lakat levittyivät erittäin tasaisesti. Nämä vaativat 2-3 kerrosta peittääkseen täysin. Kuivumisaika kahdelle kerrokselle ilman aluslakkaa on noin 30-35 minuuttia. Tässä vaiheessa lakkaus on siis täysin kuiva ja kestää kolhut. Näiden lakkojen poistaminen oli myös yllättävän helppoa. Lakat irtosivat ilman sen suurempaa hinkuttamista ihan asetonittomalla kynsilakanpoistoaineella. Näiden pohjaväri on enemmänkin helmiäinen kuin shimmer, joten poiston jälkeen et ole korviasi myöten shimmerissä.

Kuvasin 009 Candyfloss Cutien ihan yksinään, jotta lakan tekstuuri tulee paremmin näkyviin. Muut värit ovat pinnaltaan samanlaisia paitsi keltainen 008 Sherbet Sweetheart sisältää myös glitteriä ja onkin näistä oma suosikkini (tästä tulossa oma postauksensa myöhemmin).

Toisessa manikyyrissä käytin NailVinyls "tarroja" apuna kuvioiden teossa. Ensin asettelin vinyylit kynsille ja lakkasin jokaiseen kynteen eri värillä kaksi kerrosta. Vinyylit, kuten teipitkin poistetaan välittömästi lakan ollessa vielä märkää. Tämän jälkeen annoin lakkauksen ensin kuivua täysin ja sen jälkeen täytin välit eri väreillä ohutta nail art sivellintä apuna käyttäen.

Kaikenkaikkiaan oikein kivoja lakkoja nämä ja muutamia koristeluideoita on vielä mielessä kunhan aika riittäisi niiden toteuttamiseen :)

Delush Polish Head Over Heels collection

Ihanaa lauantaita! Vähän aikaa sitten saimme Suomeen, CesarsShop nettikauppaan myyntiin indielakkamerkki Delush Polishin lakkoja. Tänään esittelen koko Head Over Heels kokoelman. Aiemmin blogissani onkin jo vilahtanut myös Mad Top Hatter Duo.

Kaikki tämän kokoelman lakat levittyivät hyvin ja suhteellisen tasaisesti. Lakat peittävät 2-3 kerroksella riippuen siitä miten paksuja tai ohuita kerroksia levität. Suurempia glittereitä sisältävät lakkapullot, kuten Moves Like Jagger kannattaa kääntää hetkeksi ylösalaisin ennen lakan levitystä. Näin isommat glitterit tulevat helpommin ulos pullosta.







Bare To Be Bold - kaksi kerrosta ja HK Girl pikakuivattaja. Paksuhko koostumus joka kuitenkin levittyy hyvin ja tasaisesti. Kuivuu hieman karkeaksi ja vaatii top coatin. Kaunis kermaisen persikkainen nude sävy jossa kultaista shimmeriä ja pienen pientä holohilettä.








Careless Whisper - kaksi kerrosta ja kaksi kerrosta HK Girl pikakuivattajaa. Hyvä koostumus, helppo levittää. Kaunis ja uniikki glitteryhdistelmä hopean siniharmaalla shimmerpohjalla.








Rebellious Ruby - kaksi kerrosta ja kaksi kerrosta HK Girl pikakuivattajaa. Hieman geelimäinen koostumus, mutta hyvä levittää. Peittää kahdella kerroksella. Upean punaisessa jellylakassa on runsaasti shimmeriä ja mm. hologlitteriä tuomassa hehkua ja kimallusta. Lakan pinta näyttää kuvassa hieman epätasaiselta johtuen lakan upean liekehtivästä hehkusta. Pinta on todellisuudessa täysin tasainen.








Heart Shaped Box - kaksi kerrosta ja kaksi kerrosta HK Girl pikakuivattajaa. Ihana violetti glitterpommi jossa on runsaasti kaunista shimmeriä sekä erivärisiä ja -kokoisia hexglittereitä. Hyvä koostumus ja helppo levittää. Peittää kerrosten paksuudesta riippuen 2-3 kerroksella. Tätä voit käyttää myös violetin cremen tai shimmerin päällä jos haluat enemmän peittävyyttä ja vähemmän glitteriä kynnelle.








Moves Like Jagger - kaksi kerrosta ja HK Girl pikakuivattaja. Näyttävä sininen lakka jossa kaunis pinkki shimmer sekä eri kokoisia ja muotoisia holografisia glittereitä. Hyvä koostumus joka levittyy tasaisesti. Peittää kerrosten paksuudesta riippuen 2-3 kerroksella. Tätäkin voit kerrostaa halutessassi sinisen creme- tai shimmerlakan päälle jos haluat enemmän peittävyyttä.








Lucky In Love - kaksi kerrosta ja HK Girl pikakuivattaja. Paksuhko, hyvin ja tasaisesti levittyvä koostumus. Kaksi kerrosta peittää riittävästi. Tässä lakassa on runsaasti kauniin vihreää shimmeriä ja ihana glitterväriyhdistelmä.

Honey Pie, Sugar Bunch - kaksi kerrosta ja kaksi kerrosta HK Girl pikakuivattajaa. Erittäin hyvä levittää, kaksi kerrosta riittää peittämään. Kiiltävä ja hehkuva lopputulos. Tyttömäisen herkullinen vaaleanpunainen väri jossa mukana myös kaunista kultaista shimmeriä .

Happy Saturday lovelies! Delush Polishrecently arrived to aFinnish webstoreand I got some polishes to swatch and review too. Previously I've shown you the Mad Top Hatter Duo and today I have the whole Head Over Heels collection for you. All the swatches are two coats with one or two coats of HK Girl top coat.

I had no issues with the application. All of these were well behaving and applied smoothly. Moves Like Jagger needed to be turned upside down before application to help get the biggest hex glitters out of the bottle. Heart Shaped Box and Moves Like Jagger could also be layered on top of a creme polish for better coverage.

Honey Pie, Sugar Bunch is definitely my favorite of the collection. Such a pretty, girly shade!

Glitter Gal Australia Blooming Babes Spring 2014 Collection

Glitter Gal Australia is just about to release their Blooming Babes Spring 2014 collection. This collection includes five shades, four cremes and a stunning holo plus Gloss Boss top coat. Today I have swatches of the whole collection for you.

Let's start with a few words about Gloss Boss Ultimate Color Enhancer top coat.


Glitter Gal Australia on julkaisee huomenna uuden kevät 2014 kokoelmansa Blooming Babes. Tämä kokoelma sisältää neljä creme lakkaa, upean holon sekä Gloss Boss päällyslakan. Tänään minulla siis onkin esitellä teille swatchit koko kokoelmasta.

Aloitetaan kuitenkin Gloss Boss Ultimate Color Enhancer päällyslakalla.





Gloss Boss top coat "is the ultimate colour enhancer with a gel like, super glossy finish.  Can be applied over Glitter Gal's entire polish collections, even holographics.  If applying to holographics, wait 2 minutes for the holographic effect to be enhanced." 

This top coat is a bit on the thick side but easy to apply and it's self leveling. This really does enhance the color on creme polishes I have tried it on. Finish is very shiny and has a gel like feeling to it. This is not a fast drying top coat but the dry time is not too long at all. I quite like this one and I love the glossy finish it gives to creme polishes.



Gloss Boss päällyslakkaa kuvaillaan Glitter Galin sivuilla näin: "is the ultimate colour enhancer with a gel like, super glossy finish.  Can be applied over Glitter Gal's entire polish collections, even holographics.  If applying to holographics, wait 2 minutes for the holographic effect to be enhanced."

Tämä lakka siis voimistaa värilakan omaa sävyä ja sopii myös hololakkojen päälle. Gloss Boss on koostumukseltaan paksuhkoa, mutta levittyy erittäin hyvin ja tasoittuu itsestään. Tämä kuivuu todella kiiltäväksi ja jättää lakkauksen pinnan geelimäisen kovaksi. Itse tykkään tästä erityisen paljon cremelakkojen kanssa juuri tuon geelimäisen lopputuloksen vuoksi. Tämähän siis ei ole pikakuivattaja vaan tavallinen päällyslakka. Kuivumisaika ei silti ole turhan pitkä. Oikein kelpo top coat siis.

Then let's move on to the gorgeous polishes on this collection .... and oh yes, I filed my nails shorter and got rid of the stiletto shape for now. Just felt like I needed a change :)


Ja sitten päästään katsastamaan kokoelman ihanat lakat .... ja kuten kuvista näkyy olen viilannut kynteni lyhyemmiksi ja tylpiksi eli stiletot ovat toistaiseksi tauolla. Aloin vaan kaipaamaan jotain muutosta taas välillä :)






Nuddy Nude - two generous coats with Gloss Boss top coat. A beautiful pale sand-y beige nude. This is your basic neutral nude creme. Perfect for many different skin tones. Subtle and chic color. Very pretty! This takes two somewhat generous coats or three thinner coats to be even and opaque. The formula is very good and smooths itself out nicely so I didn't see a problem with two thicker coats.

Nuddy Nude - kaksi reilua kerrosta ja Gloss Boss päällyslakka. Kaunis hiekanvaalea neutraali nude joka ei minun silmääni taita vaaleanpunaiseen tai lilaan. Tyylikäs peruscreme joka sopii moneen eri ihonsävyyn. Tämä levittyy hyvin ja tasoittuu itsestään. Vaatii kaksi paksumpaa tai kolme ohuempaa kerrosta tasaiseen lopputulokseen. 







Good On Ya - two generous coats with Gloss Boss top coat. Pale green creme with a hint of yellow. This color is so awesome. I want to call it pastel neon cos it's pastel but also so vibrant. Really cool and unique in my collection. This also creates the "Ohh! My hands are tanned!" effect. Love this color and I'll definitely do some nail art on this. This is the same way with Nuddy Nude, applies well, levels itself and takes two thicker or three thin coats for a perfect result.

Good On Ya - kaksi reilua kerrosta ja Gloss Boss päällyslakka. Vaaleanvihreä keltaiseen taittava creme. Tämä on ihana!! Haluan kutsua tätä pastelli neoniksi koska se on jotenkin pastelli, mutta silti kirkas. Omassa kokoelmassani uniikki sävy. Tämä on myös sellainen sävy joka saa kädet näyttämään ruskettuneilta. Rakastan tätä väriä ja olenkin jo suunnitellut eri koristeluja joita tämän päälle voisi tehdä. Good On Ya on koostumukseltaan samankaltainen Nuddy Nude kanssa. Levittyy hyvin, tasoittuu itsestään ja vaatii kaksi paksumpaa tai kolme ohuempaa kerrosta täydelliseen lopputulokseen.







Mozzie Bite - two normal coats with Gloss Boss top coat. Juicy, squishy berry red crelly. Great application and lovely glossy finish. Beautiful!

Mozzie Bite - kaksi normaalia kerrosta ja Gloss Boss top coat. Ihanan mehukas marjanpunainen crelly. Levittyy todella hyvin ja lopputulos on upean kiiltävä. Herkullinen väri!







Bikini Babe - two generous coats with Gloss Boss top coat. Delicate pastel pink creme. Perfect girly summer shade. I think this might have just taken the #1 spot of pastel pinks in my collection. Formula and application on this is very similar to Nuddy Nude and Good On You.

Bikini Babe - kaksi reilua kerrosta ja Gloss Boss päällyslakka. Hento pastelli vaaleanpunainen creme. Kaunis tyttömäinen sävy. Tämä sävy saattoi juuri kiilata itsensä minun kokoelmani pastellivaaleanpunaisten ykköseksi. Koostumus ja levittyvyys samanlainen kuin Nuddy Nude ja Good On Ya lakoissa.







Love Bite - three thin coats, no top coat. Stunning red linear holo. Excellent application and quick dry time. Photos are taken with daylight bulbs and the holo effect is even stronger in direct sunlight. I applied three coats but shorter nails will get away with just two. Such a beautiful shade of red! Love!

Love Bite - kolme ohutta kerrosta, ei päällyslakkaa. Mielettömän upea punainen linear holo. Kuvat otettu päivänvalolamppujen kanssa, joten luonnollisesti holoefekti on auringonvalossa vielä voimakkaampi. Levittyy erittäin helposti ja tasaisesti. Itse laitoin kolme kerrosta, lyhyemmille kynsille riittää kaksi. Todella kaunis lakka!

Jindie Nails - $^%t Just Got Teal

This lovely Sunday I have a special treat for you, an amazing, brand new - soon to be released Jindie for you. This is Jindie Nails $^%t Just Got Teal (Jindies have the best names LOL) Obviously a teal holo with lime green hex glitters. The color on this is so beautiful! Deep vibrant teal and so much sparkle even without sunlight and then when you do step into the sunlight BOOM! All the holo comes out and the polish is even more beautiful! Just perfection in a bottle! I love this so much!

Application was absolutely flawless, smooth and easy. For shorter nails this is a one coater, I applied two. I think the second coat also adds depth to this beauty. This applied so perfectly that I had no need for clean up either.

This was love at first sight from the moment when I dug out the bottle from it's bubble wrap! Jen's creations just keep getting better and better!

This is two coats with HK Girl top coat.

I LOVE this name! Makes me laugh every time. If you're a football fan and were following the events leading to Super Bowl this year you probably know the story behind the name :D It was hard to miss the Richard Sherman show with tweets and after game explosions.

I'm not a Seahawks fan but I still love this polish and what's not to love!? You Mad, Bro? is an insanely vibrant and bright lime green with a subtle holographic effect. Just stunning!!

Application was perfect and this is opaque with just two coats. Dry time was fast and removal nice and easy. This is two coats of You Mad, Bro? with HK Girl top coat.

I'm also showing you my new nails. Supershort for me :O I decided it was time to get rid of the plastic extensions and grow my own nails back. I'm still keeping the thin UV-gel layover cos my nails are easily breaking and peeling. UV-gel helps me grow some length and keeps the shape of the nails pretty. The coat of gel is very thin and my nails still look and feel very natural.

Kynsieni malli ja pituus on taas muuttunut. Päätin ottaa tipit pois ja alkaa taas kasvattelemaan pituutta omiin kynsiin. Kynsissä on edelleen ohut geelaus ja sen aion pitääkin. En jaksa sitä liuskottuvien ja katkeilevien kynsien kanssa taistelua. Geelaus auttaa kasvattamaan kynsiin pituutta ja pitää ne kauniissa muodossa. Geelikerros on todella ohut, joten kynnet kuitenkin näyttävät ja tuntuvat luonnollisilta.

Dollish Polish pretties have just arrived to their new Finland stockist CesarsShop. To celebrate that I'm revisiting one of my favorites Penny...Penny...Penny...

I have the old bottle since (if I remember correctly) I got this from the first restock when this became available. After over a year my bottle is still in perfect condition and applied smoothly as ever. Great quality!

Penny...Penny...Penny... is a beautiful peachy nude with lovely copper glitter and shimmer. So very pretty! This is two coats with HK Girl top coat.
